WolfNet® has been an innovator in the real estate technology space for 10 years. WolfNet® pioneered and popularized map-based property searching with the introduction of its MapTracksSM product in 2005. Since that time, map searching has become a standard search option considered essential by most consumers. WolfNet® continued to innovate with the introduction of its LeadManagerSM product in 2005 allowing its customers the ability to automate the lead distribution and conversion process thereby improving response times, enhancing customer satisfaction and significantly improving lead conversion ratios.
WolfNet® continues to innovate and is currently in the process re-writing the code base for its property search and related real estate technology systems. Over the course of the last few years in particular, more of our customers have been requesting customizations designed to complement their business models. Such customizations are always possible though they are often time consuming and expensive. Along these lines, most real estate technology vendors offer platforms that are relatively rigid. The users of such systems generally have to adapt their own systems or approach to conform to the technology systems they select.
The primary objectives for our system rewrite are to offer the utmost in flexibility to our clients, dramatically reduce implementation timelines for client customizations as well as new global services and features, and to maximize the extensibility of our code base. A new feature or customization that may currently take two weeks to code, test, and implement will only take two days or less under our new system architecture. Additionally, we will be offering substantially more web based administration options for managing features as well as customizing the look and feel of the property search and related systems. Our expectation is that our system rewrite will be completed by the middle of the second quarter of 2010.
In parallel with our system rewrite, WolfNet® is in the process of implementing numerous enhancements to our current property search systems. We also continue to expand our MLS market availability with more than 300 live markets today and 27 new markets under development.
