Make Your Clients Feel Important
There are five phases in the consumer journey: Awareness, Consideration, Purchase, Advocacy, and Loyalty. The objective of purchase is to reinforce to clients that their decision is a good one. They should be excited for the future and their next move.
The only objective at this stage, other than getting your client to sign on the dotted line, is to make sure that your client feels good about the decision that they are making. This means making sure that they feel good about the deal that they made (purchase or sale) and about their experience with you. There are two main strategies you can employ to achieve this goal:
- Make them feel important – it’s all about them.
- Post a closing photo on Facebook and tag your client – congratulate them on this huge milestone.
- Provide them with some value add services/information.
- Send them some emails with information they can use to help finalize their purchase or sale.
- Send them packing tips or a move in/out checklist.
- Send them some emails with information they can use to help finalize their purchase or sale.
